Jenny Moore

Ghosts

Boring life = less posts. It's a scientific fact. Thankfully, I am starting to go out again after crawling out of an industry - read: not fashion - hole. Not a whole lot of glamour in the garment industry folks.

Anyhow, how wonderful to break the fast with an art opening at the Rauschenberg Project Space in collaboration with BALLROOM MARFA. My friend Larry Bamburg had a piece in the show! He's amazing. Fun fact: his smart and hot wife, Jenny Moore, is the new Executive Director at Chinati Foundation. Big ups to that family.

To learn more about Robert Rauschenberg the artist go to his dedicated page on Artsy.

So this is where they eat! Actually         GhostFood         is this avant art thing where the public gets the 'taste' endangered food through scent and mimic texture or better said it's a " simulated taste experiences of foods threatened with extinction due to the effects of climate change." Plus it has the name Ghost in it.

Forrest Williams       and I. He's all dreamy sexy and I'm crazy times. He was drinking water and then headed to the gym for a swim. I was drinking my second vodka tonic and headed to Grand Sichuan for soup dumplings and tea smoked duck. Damn that man looks good!

MDJ at Hauser & Wirth

Friend I'll grow old with Matthew Day Jackson opened his latest show in New York at Hauser & Wirth last Friday to much applause. Enormous in ideas and scope - Something Ancient, Something New, Something Stolen, Something Blue - was visually arresting. One had to wrap their eyes around the scale of each piece before beginning to contemplate the emotional depth. The shit was bananas.
